Suuçtu Bursa Turkey

Suuçtu Bursa TurkeyAbout a half-hour drive south of the town of Mustafakemalpaşa at the end of a narrow, winding road is found one of the Bursa area’s many fantastic natural gems: Suuçtu Waterfall (also written Su Uçtu, lit “water flew”).

Hidden away in the protected Suuçtu Nature Park, the fast-flowing stream falls over a towering 38-meter (125-foot) cliff. Large rocks, a thick forest, shallow side-streams, and cool, fresh air make the park a reinvigorating place to spend an afternoon. A streamside picnic table is a great spot to enjoy a meal and relax to the sound of rushing water. After your meal, climb to the pool below the cliff and get up close and personal with the falling water.

We recommend Suuçtu Waterfall as an afternoon getaway from the city on a hot summer day. The best way to get to Suuçtu is by car. Click here for location. If you can, try to get to the fall earlier in the day so that you can claim a highly coveted streamside picnic table. By the afternoon, especially on the weekends, the park gets fairly crowded.
