Bursa Millet Bahcesi | The Best of Bursa

One of 2020’s positive elements included the opening of the Bursa Millet Bahçesi ve Kutuphanesi (Bursa National Gardens and Library)! We snuck over to the park just prior to the official opening and enjoyed the grounds before the crowds. The facilities are terrific and include a walking track, childrens play area, and mesjid. The park is free and open to the public! The flora is still developing, but after a few seasons, I expect we’ll see some beautiful flowers.

The library has now officially opened and boasts a capacity of 20,000 books and 22,000 e-books. While they eventually hope to be open 24/7, their current pandemic hours are 09:00-18:00 weekdays.

After you tour the library and gardens, be sure to mosey over to Kultur Park, which is connected at the southwest corner of the grounds.
