This spring as Turkey endures its 3rd wave of COVID cases, social distancing continues to be a necessary reality for residents and tourists alike. We continue to explore the outdoors and the endless opportunities for exciting getaways for people of all vacation-tastes.
One recent outing for us led us to the seaside county of Mudanya. Mudanya is well-known for its lovely downtown beachfront walking paths and fish restaurants. A 30-minute drive west along the waterfront will also land you in the quaint community of Triliye (see blogpost here). We went in search of something in between and found ourselves stumbling upon a small stretch of beach and rock formations near the boat harbor.
If you’re looking for a quiet place to read a book or let your kids hunt for seashells, this was a nice spot. For others with a more adventurous spirit, come climb the rock formations or visit one of the nearby boat-rental venues to venture into the deep.
